Applications of our research include energy storage, gas capture, vaccine conservation and degradable plastics.

Our research is interested in the design and production of novel materials, and the boundaries between different states of matter. We work to create new solvents, energy materials, self-assembled and chiral materials, nanomaterials, and states of matter between liquids and solids. We are also researching new applications in energy production and storage, gas/molecule capture, vaccine conservation and degradable plastics.
