Benchmarks are published by the Office for Students (OfS), who use them to make meaningful comparisons between higher education providers. They are a form of weighted sector averages which are adjusted to account for differences in student and course characteristics.
Professor Julian Chaudhuri, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education), said: “It is incredibly pleasing to see the University of Bath perform strongly in the National Student Survey across the different measured themes, and to see our scores improving year on year.
“Our student voice score continues to rise significantly – this is a wonderful reflection of the hard work that goes on to ensure the student experience at Bath is among the best, both on campus and beyond.”
The National Student Survey (NSS) is an independent survey, commissioned by the Office for Students, that gathers final year undergraduate students' opinions on their learning experience. NSS results are available on the OfS website and the Discover Uni undergraduate course search.
The data relates to taught provision, and all modes and levels of undergraduate study.
